Shaquille O’Neal is an interesting personality. Throughout the basketball community, Shaq is one of the funniest and the most lively personalities to have ever played basketball. Hosting ‘D-Nice’ DJ Derrick Jones on his podcast, Shaquille O’Neal opened up about his inspiration to start the podcast. Shaq said that he got into DJs ever since he saw D-Nice play and the Terminator X DJ program. This was in 1988-89, when he first met DJ Derrick Jones. He explained that experience as inspirational. To start his career and get the required equipment to DJ, Shaq in his own words started to “Cut Grass, Walk Dogs and Steal.”  Using the money earned by these things, Shaq went to the pawnshop and started playing. Shaq described his first equipments- two SP 1200s and Gemini Mixer. This is how his career as a DJ took a flight. This was the first step in becoming DJ Diesel.
